First commercial recruit to the company, responsible for launch and demand generation for a biotech laboratory instrument. Built out the CRM and Marketing tech stack. Crafted and scaled lead generation campaigns. Organised conference exhibitor attendance.
In this centralized digital marketing role my scope encompassed areas of business analytics, CRM management, marketing automation, website ownership and running PPC/Ad accounts for all 5 Blacktrace brands.
I revamped Salesforce CRM solution and later executed the implementation of Pardot on top of that. This set the foundations to visualise and track the complete sales and marketing funnel.
From here I was able to develop targeted digital campaigns, testing and optimising the right mix of channels that worked for our audience and automating where possible.
In this role I lead the delivery of a new ecommerce site, through optimization and a focus on UX I increased revenue +30%. I ran webinars as part of a new product application release and worked on developing a community of academic microfluidics users, connecting users through academic publications.
In this product marketing function I was responsible for the lead generation for a line of flow chemistry products. I created brochures, setup a blog, developed application content with product specialists. I was also responsible for the launch of a new £0.5mill product, creating a multi-channel marketing campaign in the run up to a launch at a trade show. My efforts resulted in +55% lead generation exceeding ambitious targets set out by company investors.
Working in the Retail Account Team within the Commercial Operations Business Unit. Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve sales and service targets. I was responsible for 400+ Independent, 1-4 shop, pharmacies chains across the UK and surpassed sales targets by 1-2% (≈ £150k). I was responsible for the integration of the Veeva (Salesforce derivative) CRM system for the business unit and was awarded a bronze recognition award for my work.
